# Random Teleport

Use `/rtp` to leave spawn and find a wilderness location.

### How It Works

* A short countdown may occur before teleportation.
* Moving during the countdown can cancel it.
* A cooldown applies after use.
* Safe-location checks attempt to avoid dangerous blocks and protected areas.
* Rank or event perks may affect convenience settings.

### Before You Teleport

Bring:

* Food.
* Blocks.
* A water bucket.
* Basic tools.
* Enough inventory space.
* A plan for returning home.

Set a home or establish a protected claim before traveling too far from your first base.

### Choosing a Base Location

Avoid:

* The immediate RTP landing point.
* Surface bases beside paths.
* Building directly against another claim.
* Exposed storage.
* Locations near the world border.

Travel farther before creating a permanent vault or main base.
